How to make a small toy beacon with a light bulb. Lighthouse. Decor in a marine style from waste materials. Making a garden figurine: photo

Almost everyone is familiar with the navigation system. GPS helps to quickly and accurately determine the location of a particular object - a person, a car, other modes of transport or animals. The simplest beacon is inexpensive in the store, but a more powerful one hits the wallet a little. But why buy when you can actually do it yourself? From what and how those who wish will now learn.

Self-assembly of a gps beacon, what to make, how to act

ATTENTION! Found a completely simple way to reduce fuel consumption! Don't believe? An auto mechanic with 15 years of experience also did not believe until he tried it. And now he saves 35,000 rubles a year on gasoline!

Every modern phone, car, computer has a gps beacon. The program is convenient, simple, and most importantly productive. The location of any object with its help is determined instantly. Gps beacon, as an independent device, is popular among motorists and parents who constantly want to know where their child is, but not everyone is in a hurry to lay out their money for this device in the store. For those thrifty people, there are ideas to help them build a gps tracking beacon on their own and with minimal cost. You can make a beacon for tracking with your own hands in several ways, and it is about them that we will now discuss.

Owners of cool smartphones will get a tracking system for free and without effort

Each smartphone that has a built-in gps module can become a full-fledged beacon that a person can use to obtain the coordinates he needs. The whole technical point of creating such a beacon is as follows:

After these steps, the owner of the smartphone will be able to use his device not only for calls, entertainment and access to the Internet, but also to track the location of a particular object. So in a simple way the smartphone turns into a full-fledged gps beacon.

In order for the system to work correctly, the android device must have a version of at least 3.2, but it is better if it is at least 4.1.2. Data about the tracking object will be displayed on the phone in the form of SMS messages or dots on google maps Maps.

How to mount a gps beacon with a less fancy mobile device

A phone that is slightly inferior to powerful mobile devices on the Android operating system too Can be a great base for a GPS beacon. In order to assemble such a device with your own hands, you will need to buy something else and show your skills in handling technical devices. in addition to the phone, you will need to stock up on an adapter - it may be ragged Charger, where the connection side with the phone survived. You will also need to buy a GPS / GPRS module and receiver.

If all the elements of the future lighthouse are at hand, you need to stock up on tools - a knife, a soldering iron. Work must be done according to the following principle:

  • the wires that are the basis of the cable for connecting to the phone need to be stripped;
  • they must be connected to the module or using a soldering iron;
  • connect the system to the phone jack, which is designed for charging;
  • turn on the receiver and try to configure the necessary parameters from the phone.

Such a gps beacon will send signals to the phone in the form of normal text messages, and if it is possible to open maps, then it is easier to look at the coordinates on them, because it will be easier to navigate in space and determine the specific location of the object.

Such a beacon is easy to use, but at home. The design will be quite inconvenient for carrying or installing in a car. This is an ideal option for those who are going to monitor their loved ones and children from home.

Is it possible to make a lighthouse without a phone

Before answering the question of whether it is possible to make a gps beacon without a phone with your own hands, you should figure out what this device really is and what features it has. GPS beacon is a device that is mainly used to guard cars. It has a compact size, it is powered by a charger. The system accurately determines the location of the object, but for its correct operation, a SIM card must be present inside the device.

The last fact makes it possible to understand that the operation of the beacon without a SIM card is not possible. In this case, there are only two options out of the situation - buy a ready-made lighthouse in a store or do it yourself using mobile phone and additional accessories. If there is no SIM card, the system will not be able to perform the following actions:

  • correct and timely signal transmission;
  • registration of a new tracking object and the display of statements about it;
  • connect to the internet - this is necessary for the operation of gps.

If you are using a phone with the latest operating system and powerful processor, it is enough to download a special application for it, and a simpler model requires additional elements to work in gps beacon mode.

Advantages and disadvantages of a do-it-yourself gps beacon

Even store bought technical devices have a number of advantages and disadvantages. Speaking of what has been done with my own hands gps dot, then its positive aspects are as follows:

  • the ability to quickly, without outside help and large financial investments, make a reliable tracking device;
  • even if you have to buy additional little things to design a lighthouse, it will come out much cheaper than in a store;
  • in terms of functionality, such a device is in no way inferior to the beacons that were bought in the store.

A person will be able to use such a beacon for many years, and if there are any inaccuracies in the work, they can always be corrected.

A beacon for a car created by oneself has a number of shortcomings that make it inferior in popularity to the standard version bought in the store. Especially these negative aspects are tangible for car owners and they are as follows:

  • due to the design features of the system, it cannot be correctly placed in the passenger compartment;
  • part of such a beacon must be mobile device, and the constant tracking process can create difficulties for mobile communications;
  • the beacon consists of several elements connected to each other and when the car moves, they can disconnect from each other or break the wires.

If a person plans to use a beacon for receiving gps data for his car, then it is better to buy this device in a store. When a tracking system is needed exclusively for home use, a do-it-yourself beacon will become ideal option. The frequent use of such systems for cars prompted the creators to opt for a monoblock design of compact dimensions. If you make an analogue of the lighthouse with your own hands only with the help of a smartphone and special program- can be used for placement in a car. If the lighthouse is created from separate elements, it is better to leave it for home use.

GPS beacon will always help to search for cars or other moving objects. You can buy it in the store or create it yourself. It is worth deciding which option to choose, taking into account your own financial capabilities, the purpose for which the device will be used and soberly assess your communication skills with technical devices.

WANT TO THROW OUT: coffee cans, newspaper (or paper egg cartons)
WILL DO: decorative figurine "Lighthouse"

The sea season, it seems, is over, but the ideas remain. And I suggest you save up tin cans in order to build a guiding beacon for the new season. In the photo - a small design of coffee cans for the home, but you can build a similar one from larger cans - for the garden.

Craft on the "marine" theme. And, of course, we use everything unnecessary ...
This craft can be just a decorative element at home or in the garden. Or maybe a toy for children.
But if you wish, you can turn it into a lamp: only carefully, with the participation of an electrician and using a special "cool" light bulb. Well, or use an LED candle.

"Lighthouse" with your own hands.

WE NEED:
1. Acrylic paints + varnish.
2. "Liquid nails" for joining cans.
3. Brushes.
4. Wire from "Champagne" - for handrails.

WORKING PROCESS:
1-2. We clean the jars with sandpaper. We customize the design: where it is necessary to cut holes.
3. The missing parts - the roof, lifebuoys, stones - we sculpt from paper dough (papier-mâché). We dry.
4. We paint.
5. Collect, decorate.
Do not forget about varnish, and for use in the garden - about yacht varnish.

Note: "weather vane" can be cut out of a tin can.

FOR THOSE WHO LIKE IT SIMPLE:
But, in general, you can get by with some tin cans: connect them with liquid nails or glue. All "decor" (stones, windows, etc.) to draw or paste pictures (decoupage). And instead of a roof, insert a suitable (!) solar-powered garden lamp.

"Lighthouse" craft for children 5-6 years old.

Target: develop creativity children. Tasks: 1. Learn to see the potential for transformation in ordinary objects. 2. Learn to draw up a work plan, independently implement it. 3. To consolidate the skill of rolling and flattening plasticine sausages. 4. Fix the skill of cutting along the intended line. To consolidate the skill of lubricating children. 5. Learn to evaluate your work.

To work, you will need a plastic bottle from yogurt, kefir or milk, plasticine, red cardboard, pencil, scissors. Remind your children what lighthouse. What is it for, what details does it have. Offer to choose from waste material what you may need for work. Make a work plan.

Clean the bottle from the label, degrease it.

Place the bottle on colored cardboard and circle the base. To this circle add another circle 1.5 - 2 cm larger. This is the future bridge for the caretaker lighthouse. Add another circle 1 cm larger. This is the bridge railing. Draw cut lines from the center of the circle to the first circle. Mark the lines of the cuts in place of the railing.

Cut out the detail. Bend the part along the cut line.

Shorten the inner sectors of the part.

Roll up long sausages from red plasticine, crush them. Roll up thin sausages for windows from blue plasticine. Connect them into round windows.

Using the lubrication method, fix the plasticine on the bottle.

Put the bridge part on the top of the bottle and secure it with plasticine.

Soon on February 23, every year all educators have a headache, what kind of gift to make for dads and grandfathers this time. I offer you a master.

Unusual-looking lamps have always interested me not only because of their peculiar appearance but because of its originality and uniqueness. In fact, making a lamp with your own hands is quite simple. If you are interested this topic, then in the presented master class I will tell you how to make a lighthouse lamp. Since I have two little boys, and the youngest often complains that he is afraid to fall asleep at night, I decided to build a small beacon-house so that the children would be comfortable in their room. Since the light bulb in the lighthouse will then still have to be changed (it will burn out or shake off), the lighthouse itself must be removable. Therefore, as planned, it was decided to place the lighthouse on a rock, in which wires and a light bulb with a cartridge will be mounted.

So, to make a lighthouse lamp, I needed:

For workpiece:

- very thick cardboard

- scissors

- a light bulb with a cartridge and a wire with a plug (I used a small light bulb, these are inserted in the refrigerator)

- thread, needle

- plastic bottle

- Super glue

For decoration:

- gypsum finishing putty

- palette knives (you can use a small spatula)

- paints, brushes

From cardboard, I first assembled the design of the future lighthouse: the lighthouse itself and the base-rock. I attached a light bulb with a cartridge at the base, the cord was brought out from below. I sewed the base with threads, since it was problematic to connect with glue. At the lighthouse I cut out small windows. From a plastic bottle, I cut out glass windows, as it were, and glued them on the inside of the lighthouse with super glue. Got glass windows.

Here is a blank for further decoration with plaster.

While the putty mountain was drying, I decided to make miniature bricks, so that later I could line the lighthouse with them. To do this, she diluted the gypsum putty with water. I prepared a substrate from chipboard, lined the substrate with cellophane on top.

I already applied an even layer of putty to the cellophane, and then cut it with a wide spatula into small bricks. She let it dry completely for a day, dismantled the bricks into separate segments and began to line the lighthouse with them. Fastened again with putty.

Here is such a gypsum lighthouse lamp I got.

After the whole structure had dried up, I primed the surface and painted it with dispersion paint, tinting it in the desired color.

At the very end, the lighthouse lamp was covered with a protective water-based varnish.

Here the summer is over. Many of us rested on the sea, and on the sea shores you can often see such a structure as a lighthouse. A lighthouse is a tower with a bright light at the top, located on an important or dangerous part of a waterway. Lighthouses aid in navigation and warn ships of danger. The lighthouse is a road sign on the sea. They are usually erected on high capes of the mainland or large islands protruding into the sea, as well as on islands located far from the coast or simply on an underwater rock. And let's try with the help of adults and this master class to make a real home lighthouse with our own hands!

The work will not be difficult and for it we will need:

1. Cardboard cylindrical box (you can take a box of chips);
2. Juice bag;
3. Old newspapers;
4. Plastic transparent jar of yogurt;
5. Twist tin lid;
6. White water-based paint;
7. Gouache paints, brush, simple pencil;
8. PVA glue;
9. Glue moment transparent;

First, glue Moment our cylinder (in fact, it will be the lighthouse itself) onto the juice bag (the bag is the base on which it will stand).

Next, we take old newspapers and crumple them well.

Around the lighthouse, using PVA glue (it will take quite a lot of glue), we glue crumpled newspapers on a juice box (crumpled newspapers will create the effect of stones smoothly turning into sea waves).

We let our structure dry well.

After the work dries, completely cover it with white water-based paint. This paint is good because its consistency is quite thick, and in order for the black newspaper print not to show through, it is enough to apply one layer of this paint.

As soon as the white paint dries, and it dries pretty quickly, we move on to the next stage of work. Let's draw a drawing with a simple pencil.

We paint the lighthouse itself with colored gouache paints: we draw red stripes on it, and also paint the area near it yellow (this is sand), then black (these are sea stones), and paint the last layer blue or blue (sea waves).

Let the paints dry well.

While the work dries, we glue the tin lid onto a plastic transparent jar of yogurt. If there is no transparent plastic jar, then you can take a small glass jar.

And paint it red.

We put a jar on top of the lighthouse.

You don’t need to glue the jar to the top of the lighthouse, and here’s why: since the cylinder from which our lighthouse is made is empty in the middle, you can insert a small thin flashlight into it, if there is one, of course, in the house, and periodically turn it on in the evenings. Light will penetrate through a transparent jar and our craft will become a real glowing home beacon!
