Do not place the remote control near heat sources, in direct sunlight, do not drop the remote control, do not place heavy objects on it, avoid contact with water.
If the remote control stops working, check if there are batteries, if they are inserted correctly, if they are of the same type. In the event of a malfunction of the remote control, you can control the air conditioner using the emergency start button on the indoor unit. Successive presses on it turn on the following Cold-Disabled modes. Do not hold the button pressed for more than 5 seconds, otherwise the special mode used by the service departments will turn on.

Choice of operating modes
Auto selection mode "AUTO". In this mode, the device independently chooses what to choose (heating or cooling) in order to maintain the temperature at a given level. The temperature level is set by buttons 3 on the remote control. Each press changes the number by one.
If you want, you can turn off the auto-select mode.
Modes COOL (COOL), HEATING (HEAT), DRY (DRY), VENTILATION (FAN).

When cooling the air in the room, it is recommended to adhere to the following scheme: external temperature 21-46°C, internal temperature 18-32°C. When heated -15-21°C external means possible internal 15-30°C.
Please note that when operating in heating mode, the start of operation of the indoor unit is delayed in time. This is necessary to start the system correctly. It is also important to remember that in order to defrost the external unit, the device will periodically stop working.

Additional settings for work
The direction of air ejection is selected by pressing the AIRFLOW button. You can choose between automatic position selection, five fixed positions and flap swing mode.
Attention! It is recommended to choose a direction close to horizontal for cooling, and close to vertical for heating.

Sleeping mode . By pressing button No. 5, you can program the air conditioner to turn off at the time you need. Attention! The sleep mode allows you to specify how long the air conditioner should turn off. When you turn on the TIMER, you specify the exact time to turn off the device.
The on timer allows you to set the time to turn on, while the off timer allows you to turn off the device at the desired time.
So you can use the on timer to turn on the job at the right time and then either turn it off AFTER the right time (sleep timer) or At the specified time (off timer).
During operation, you can press the HI POWER-ECONO button to adjust the fan power. Accordingly, HI POWER is maximum power, and ECONO is the power saving mode. TIP: To save energy, check the condition of the air filter on the indoor unit regularly.

Cleaning function starts working after pressing the CLEAN button. The duration of the operation is 2 hours. After it is completed, the air conditioner turns off. You can manually stop its execution by pressing the ON\OFF or SLEEP buttons. During this procedure, the light flashes in the mode of 3 seconds of light - one is off. This mode of operation is not designed to remove molds and fungi that have already appeared.

Self start function means that your air conditioner will automatically turn on after a power outage and will operate in the same mode in which it worked before the outage.

Cleaning your air conditioner
To unplug it first, then remove the plug from the outlet. Stand on a secure footing so you don't fall. Do not use gasoline, water hotter than 40 degrees Celsius, abrasive detergents.
Replace air filters in a timely manner. For more complex work, call the experts.

At the end of the season
Turn on the heating mode for 3-4 hours to dry the indoor unit and prevent mold growth. Then turn off the air conditioner and remove the plug from the socket. Clean the outdoor and indoor units and remove the batteries from the remote controller.
At the start of the season.
Make sure that there are no mechanical obstacles to air movement near the outdoor and indoor units. Check that there is no corrosion on the outdoor unit. Insert the batteries into the remote control. Connect the plug to the mains.

Selection of the installation site and electrical installation work
Must be a good place in terms of air outflow from both units of the air conditioner.
Should not be installed in the following locations:
Where there is a risk of oil splashing.
In places with a salty and humid climate.
Where flammable gases may leak.
Where there are impurities of sulfide gases.
Closer than 1 m from radio and TV.
Where it is impossible to safely drain condensate from the outdoor unit.

Air conditioner not working? Make sure that it is connected to the mains, that there are batteries in the remote control, that they are installed correctly.
Is your device not working as efficiently as it used to? Is the desired temperature correct? Are the air filters clean, are the windows and doors in the room closed. The air conditioner works worse if there are many people in the room at the same time. Are there any heating devices in the refrigerated room?
The device does not turn on immediately after turning off - this is the norm, it should do so, waiting 3 minutes. When the heating mode is turned on, the device comes into operation for several minutes and periodically stops for 10 minutes to defrost the outdoor unit.
When you select the dry mode, the device does not work all the time - this is the norm, since its task is to dry, and not to cool the air.
There is an odor from the air conditioner. First of all, you need to check if it belongs to a damp wall or carpet, after which you should check if there is mold in the device.
Clicks and similar sounds may accompany the process of changing the temperature of the indoor unit. Gurgling sounds are possible due to the movement of refrigerant, condensate, or air being sucked into the room through the drain hose.

Precautionary measures
This product is intended for home use and may not work properly in other locations.
It must be installed and connected by qualified personnel. Do not install the device where flammable substances may be released into the air. Do not spray insecticides or other flammable substances on the indoor and outdoor units. Be sure to use grounding when connecting to the mains. Be sure to check that the condensate drain is correct so that it does not damage your furniture or building.
Do not stay in the path of the cold air coming out of the indoor unit for a long time. Do not insert your fingers or foreign objects into the holes, as this may result in injury.
Make sure that the air conditioner is operated by persons familiar with this manual. Do not leave the remote control within reach of children - they may swallow the batteries. Use the same batteries for the remote control, change them in a timely manner.
Connect the plug only to the outlet dedicated to the air conditioner, do not use extension cords, all operations with the plug must be carried out with dry and clean hands. Keep the plug and wires clean. Do not stand on the wire or place any objects on it. Do not disconnect the plug from the socket during operation, for this you must first turn off the air conditioner using the remote control. It is necessary to wait 5 minutes after turning off with the remote control and only then you can remove the plug from the socket.
Do not place foreign objects on the indoor/outdoor units, especially water. Do not touch the aluminum parts on the air conditioner, as this may cause injury.
If open flame appliances are used indoors, be sure to ventilate the room from time to time.
Do not operate the air conditioner without the air filter. For repair and maintenance of the air conditioner, be sure to invite trained professionals. Notify the installer if the appliance starts making strange noises and stops heating/cooling - this may be due to a refrigerant leak and should only be repaired by qualified personnel.
Turn off the air conditioner during a thunderstorm from the mains.

In the dehumidification mode, the device will not work continuously - in order to dehumidify without cooling, it is necessary to stop its operation periodically.
When the room is heated, the outdoor unit will remove the cold outside, so a mist will appear around the air coming out of it, similar to white smoke.
During heating, there will be stops needed to defrost the outdoor unit.
When cooling a room where there is a lot of moisture, a situation is possible when fog will appear around the cold stream.
The operation of the air conditioner will automatically continue in the same mode in which it was before the power was turned off.
When the air conditioner is operating, water - condensate may flow from both units. Therefore, furniture and electrical appliances should not be placed under the air conditioner.
If the remote control does not work, check the batteries and check if they are missing.
If the air conditioner does not cool well, then you should check whether the windows and doors are closed, whether the operating mode is set correctly, the condition of the filters, and whether the air is escaping through open windows and doors.
If the air coming out of the air conditioner smells bad, check if there are any dirt on the indoor unit, filters, on the wall near the air conditioner.
As the plastic heats up, it expands, which can cause a popping sound.
When refrigerant and condensate move, the sound of water flowing may occur.

fan.

To prevent the formation of excess water on
elements of the outdoor unit, the compressor periodically
turns off, which does not affect the thermal regime
in room. The temperature will be maintained at
according to the value you set.

Mist is emitted from the air outlet of the indoor unit.

Indoor air contains a lot of moisture and
cold air flow coming out of
air conditioner, causes a similar phenomenon in the area
contact.

Vertical vibrations of the vertical damper in the "Swing" mode periodically stop.

This is normal in this mode of operation.

Airflow direction in
horizontal plane fails
control with the remote control,
periodically observed
independent changes

If Cool or Dry mode is selected and it works
30min to 1 hour, then to prevent dripping
condensate from indoor unit air conditioner
automatically selects horizontal
outlet air direction.

During HEAT operation
work stops at 10
minutes.

This is necessary to defrost the external
block. At low outdoor temperatures
significant freezing of condensate is possible, with
who need to fight.

After the appearance of electricity in
network air conditioning independently
starts to work even though im no one in
this time was not managed by

The signal from the remote control may not be received in the room where the fluorescent lamps that are turned ON/OFF by an electronic device (inverter-type fluorescent lamps, etc.). In regions with weak electric waves, operation of the air conditioner may interfere with radio or TV reception. An amplifier may be required for normal radio or TV reception. During a thunderstorm, stop the air conditioner and unplug the power cord from the outlet, or turn off the power breaker. Otherwise, electrical components may be damaged. IF YOU FEEL THAT THE UNIT IS DEFECTIVE Question Answer (this is not a malfunction) When restarted, the unit does not respond to control commands for approximately 3 minutes. This is the protective function of the air conditioner, activated by the microprocessor. Please wait. A crackle is heard. The crackling is due to the expansion/contraction of the front panel and other parts of the instrument due to temperature changes. The air leaving the air conditioner sucks in the smells of walls, carpet, indoor appliance, furniture, fabrics and blows them out with the air. specific smell. Has the PLASMA REFRESH filter box been cleaned? If the appliance is dirty, clean it, and if dirt is visible on the ceramic refreshing filter, replace the filter with a new one. When the air conditioner is operated in PLASMA mode, you may smell ozone generated in small amounts by the PLASMA AIR FRESH/CLEANER filter units. This is not a malfunction. The outdoor unit fan does not rotate even when the compressor is running. Even if the fan starts spinning, it stops quickly. When the outside temperature is low, the fan may not operate to maintain sufficient cooling capacity. The sound of flowing water is heard. This is the sound of refrigerant flowing through the pipes of the air conditioner. This is the sound of condensed moisture flowing through the tubes of the heat exchanger. This is the sound of the heat exchanger during defrosting. A gurgling sound is heard. This sound is heard when outside air is sucked in from the drain hose when the extractor or fan is turned on, causing a jet of water to come out of the drain hose. This sound is also heard in strong winds when outside air forcefully enters the drain hose. The room is not cooled enough. When a fan or gas stove is used indoors, the load on the air conditioner in cooling mode increases, resulting in reduced cooling efficiency. If the outdoor temperature is high, the cooling efficiency may decrease. A light mist comes out of the air outlet of the indoor unit. The cool air coming from the air conditioner quickly cools the moisture in the indoor air, and haze is generated. A mechanical sound is heard from the indoor unit. This sound appears when turning on/off the fan or compressor. Question Answer (this is not a malfunction) When the air conditioner is running in COOL mode During operation or DRY, when the air direction is turned, the direction of the air flow is reversed for 1 hour to prevent the air flow from dripping. The direction of the flow direction is automatically set to the horizontal position (1). damper cannot be operated in heating mode, if the airflow temperature is adjusted too low with the remote control or during defrosting, the remote horizontal damper position will automatically control. set to "horizontal". Water is leaking from the outdoor unit. When operating in COOL (cooling) and DRY (drying) modes, pipes and pipe connections are cooled, which causes moisture condensation. During heating operation, during the defrosting operation, the frozen water on the outdoor unit melts and flows down. When operating in heating mode, the moisture condensed in the heat exchanger flows down. White smoke comes out of the outdoor unit. In the heating mode, the steam that comes out as a result of defrosting is in the form of white smoke. When operating in heating mode, air is not immediately blown out. Please wait while the air conditioner is preparing to blow out warm air. When operating in heating mode, the appliance stops for approximately 10 minutes. The outdoor unit is being defrosted (Defrost operation). This operation takes 10 minutes, please wait. (When the outside temperature is low and the humidity is high, frost will form.) A hissing sound is sometimes heard. This sound is heard when the refrigerant flow inside the air conditioner changes. The room is not enough If the outdoor temperature is low, the heating efficiency may decrease. heated. If one of the indoor units is not used in a multi-unit system, it will heat up and a noise similar to running water may be heard. A small amount of refrigerant continues to be supplied to the indoor unit even if the unit is not in use. The air conditioner will start working only when the power is on, even if you do not operate the unit with the remote control. These models are equipped with an autorun function. If you turn off the power without stopping the operation of the air conditioner using the remote control and then turn on the power, the air conditioner will automatically start operating in the mode that was set using the remote control before the power was turned off. 191 IF YOU FEEL THAT THE APPLIANCE IS DEFECTIVE Question Answer (this is not a problem) The PLASMA/WASH indicator flashes after cleaning. Press the WASH reset switch inside the front panel. The indoor unit emits a slight hiss. This is the sound of plasma discharges, not a malfunction. The PLASMA AIR FRESH/CLEANING filter units make clicking sounds. Is the PLASMA DEODORIZING/AIR PURIFICATION filter unit clogged with dust? Clean the PLASMA DEODOR/AIR CLEANING filter units. Are the PLASMA DEODORIZER/AIR PURIFYING filter units damp? Dry the PLASMA DEODORIZER/AIR PURIFYING filter units completely. Question Answer (this is not a malfunction) This is necessary for the normal rotation operation of the VERTICAL AND VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL FLAPPER rotation operation. pauses briefly, then restarts. The automatic front panel does not close after opening it while the air conditioner is off. If you open the automatic front panel while the air conditioner is off, it will remain in the open position. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and/or turn off the switch, then turn on the plug and/or switch again. The automatic front panel does not close. Are the PLASMA DEODORIZER/AIR CLEANING filter units installed correctly? Are the mold filters installed correctly? Install them securely. Question Answer (this is not a malfunction) If the front panel was opened automatically manually while the air conditioner was turned off, the front panel will remain open manually without being closed. condition. Unplug the power cord and/or turn off the switch, then plug it back in and/or turn on the switch. The automatic front panel will open all the way once and then close. From the indoor unit If the auto front panel is not fully opened, water drips during operation. air conditioner, condensation may form on it and drip down. In this case, use the remote control to turn the air conditioner off and on. The auto front panel should close and then open fully. After If the auto front panel is auto front open at the moment when the indoor unit is completely turned off for maintenance open, a quiet maintenance sound, etc., the sound will sound when the click. (About 13 seconds, the indoor unit will resume operation and maximum) detect the position of the auto front panel. This is not a malfunction. If the indoor unit is turned off due to a power failure, etc., and the auto front panel is opened, the sound will sound when the indoor unit resumes operation and detects the position of the auto front panel. This is not a malfunction. 192 INSTALLATION, HANDLING AND INSPECTION OF THE UNIT Installation location Avoid installing the air conditioner in the following locations. Locations where flammable gas may leak. CAUTION: Do not install the instrument in a location where flammable gas may leak. If flammable gas escapes and accumulates near the instrument, an explosion may occur. In places where there is a lot of engine oil. In places where there is a lot of salt, for example, on the coast. Locations where hydrogen sulfide gas is generated, such as near a hot natural spring. In places where oil products are released or where there is a lot of oil vapour. If you have high-frequency or radio-receiving equipment. The outdoor unit must be installed at least 3 m away from television, radio, etc. antennas. In regions with weak electric waves, a larger distance between the outdoor unit and the antenna is required if the air conditioner interferes with radio or TV reception . Install as far away as possible to protect against exposure to fluorescent lamps. Inverter type fluorescent lamps wall, etc. Keep enough distance to avoid picture and sound distortion. 1m or more Well-ventilated dry place 100mm or more 200mm or more TV 1m or more Cordless phone or Portable phone Radio 3m or more CAUTION: Ground the unit. Do not connect ground wires to gas and water pipes, lightning rods, or to the telephone network ground cable. Improper grounding of the instrument may result in electric shock. Depending on the specific conditions, install an earth leakage breaker in the place where the air conditioner is installed (places with high humidity, etc.). If an earth leakage breaker is not installed, electric shock may result. Inspection and Maintenance appliance After using the air conditioner for several seasons, its performance may decrease due to the accumulation of dirt on the interior of the appliance. Depending on the specific operating conditions, unpleasant odors or incomplete drainage of moisture due to the accumulation of dirt, dust, etc. may occur. In addition to the normal maintenance operations of the appliance, it is recommended to have the air conditioner regularly inspected and maintained by a specialist. Please contact your dealer. Be aware of the operating noise of the unit WARNING: If the air conditioner is operating but not cooling or heating (depending on the model), contact your dealer as this may indicate a refrigerant leak. Be sure to ask a service representative about the presence or absence of a refrigerant leak after performing repairs. The refrigerant charged into the air conditioning system does not pose a health hazard. Usually there is no refrigerant leakage, however, if refrigerant gas leaks indoors and then comes into contact with the fire of a fan heater, space heater, stove, etc., harmful substances will be generated. Electrical work Provide a separate circuit for powering the air conditioner. Be sure to observe the permissible power of the circuit breaker in the power supply. WARNING: Do not install the air conditioner by the user. Improper installation may result in fire, electric shock, injury due to the unit falling, liquid leakage, etc. Do not use an intermediate connection in the power cord or use an extension cord. Do not connect multiple electrical appliances to the same AC power source. dry in the shade before putting it back.

What is a "catechin air filter"?
Catechins are bioflavonoids found in green tea, which is known for its
antiviral and antioxidant properties. In addition, catechin has
excellent deodorizing properties. Catechin air filter not only
improves air quality, but also prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses in
room.
Note:
Clean the filter regularly for best performance and reduced
energy consumption.
Water left in the air conditioner for a long time promotes the growth of fungi such as mold.
To prevent fungus growth, set the temperature to the highest
manual mode and leave the air conditioner to warm up for 3-4 hours. Usually for this
time the water inside the machine dries out.

If you think there is a problem

Description of modes.
AUTO mode. To maintain the temperature, the air conditioner independently heats or cools the air supplied to the room, depending on the ambient temperature. Note: Do not use this mode with a multi-split system when several indoor units are connected to one outdoor unit. If one of them is turned on in the heating (cooling) mode, all the others can only work in the same mode and therefore will not be able to switch between modes.
Heating - "HEAT" mode. Air heating. Note: when starting this mode, there may be a delay in the air supply at the beginning and a stop of up to 10 minutes in operation - this is necessary to defrost the outdoor unit.
Cooling - "COOL" mode. In this mode, the air is cooled and its temperature is maintained at a given level. Note: Do not use this mode when the outdoor temperature is below -10 degrees Celsius. This may damage the outdoor unit.
Drying - mode "DRY". In this case, the air conditioner cools minimally, drying the air in the room. You cannot set the temperature level in this mode.
Ventilation - "FAN" mode. The air conditioner circulates the air in the room.

Additional settings for work
The indicator lights on the front panel can indicate three modes. Both are lit when the mode has not yet been reached and the difference from the set temperature is more than 2 degrees. One is lit, the second is off - the set temperature has been reached. The third mode can be seen only when the multi-split system is running. One is on, the second is blinking - this indoor unit has switched to standby mode, since the other is turned on in the opposite mode (for example, this one was cooling, and the other was turned on for heating).
Autorun feature. If the network was de-energized when the air conditioner was operating in the mode you specified, then after the appearance of electricity, it will automatically turn on in the same mode.
If you can't use the remote control.
To control the air conditioner without a remote control, you can use the emergency button. By successively pressing it, you turn on the air conditioner in the cooling-heating-shutdown mode. The first 30 minutes after starting, the ventilation mode is set to maximum and the set temperature is not taken into account - the device operates in the maximum possible cooling / heating mode.
By pressing the FAN button, you can set the fan operation mode. It can be Auto, Quiet, Weak, Medium, Strong, Forced. By pressing the VANE button, you can select one of the following operating modes: Auto, manual with five tilt options, "Swing" (regular swing of the rail).

After selecting the operating mode you are interested in (cooling, heating), setting the intensity of the fan and horizontal damper, you can save these settings by pressing the “I SAVE” button - maximum two options.
Energy saving mode.
By pressing the "Econo COOL" button you turn on the cooling mode with reduced power consumption.

Timer.
By pressing the ON or OFF button you can set the timer settings. A maximum of 28 time points can be set. For example, the air conditioner will turn on every day at 6:00, turn off at 8:00, then turn on at 17:30 and turn off at 20:00.

Cleaning your air conditioner

Memo.
Be sure to unplug the air conditioner before cleaning.
Do not touch metal parts.
Do not use gasoline, abrasive powders, insecticides.
Do not dry parts of the air conditioner in the sun, near heat sources.
Do not use water hotter than 50 degrees.

Nanoplatinum filter.
This is a ceramic product coated with platinum microparticles. It cleans the air better than a catechin filter. Additional air purification is provided by an electrostatic air filter, it must be washed every three months. Monitor the condition of the filters to improve the quality of the air conditioner. Be careful as the plastic parts are easily scratched, which detracts from their appearance.

If you think there is a problem
It is not possible to give any command using the remote control - check the operation of the remote control, the correct installation and serviceability of the batteries.
The horizontal flap does not move. This may be normal for some modes of operation. Check for foreign objects or damage. Press the RESET button on the remote control.
It is not possible to control the damper position in some modes, when the electronics itself determines its position and movement.
After restarting, the air conditioner does not work for 3 minutes - this is normal and necessary for the safety of the air conditioner.
When you start heating the room, the air conditioner does not work for 10 minutes or stops its operation for this time. This is necessary to defrost the outdoor unit.

If you use a multi-split (two indoor units), then please note that both indoor units must operate in the same mode (both for cooling or both for heating), so if the second one is turned on in a different mode, then the first one goes into standby mode.

If you think that the device does not cool or heat the air well enough, please check the following points. Are the door and window closed, is it too hot outside - this reduces the efficiency of the air conditioner, are the filters clean and are there any obstructions to the air outlet from the outdoor / indoor units. If the problem persists, call the experts as there is a possibility that it is a refrigerant leak. This substance, in contact with fire, can lead to the formation of harmful substances.
Sounds. If sounds are heard during operation, then this may be normal. When the temperature of the indoor unit changes, the plastic parts of the indoor unit will make sounds. Also, the movement of condensate or refrigerant can also cause sounds.
If there is a strange smell in the outgoing air, first of all check its possible sources - carpet, wall and other objects adjacent to the indoor unit.

When the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
Before turning it off for a long time, turn it on to heating mode for 3-4 hours. During this time, moisture will be completely eliminated from the indoor unit, which can cause the growth of fungi. Next, you need to turn off the device by pressing the shutdown button on the remote control. After that, you should remove the batteries from the remote control and unplug the air conditioner from the outlet.

To connect after a long period of inactivity, you need to wash the filters, check whether there are any obstacles to the movement of air at the outdoor and indoor units, insert batteries and set the time in the remote control.

The air conditioner should only be connected to an outlet of the required rating, grounding is required. Install batteries (not rechargeable batteries) in the remote control. Do not use batteries of different types and charge levels for joint installation.
Choice of operating modes

Choice of operating modes
The following modes are available for the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-HC25VA model:
automatic mode selection;
space heating;
room cooling;
dehumidification;
ventilation (taking into account the operation of the air filter, this mode cleans the air).
To start the mode that suits you, press the mode selection button on the remote control. The automatic temperature control mode is used to keep the temperature in the room within the range you specified. When it rises above the desired level, cooling is turned on, if the room becomes colder - heating.
Heating comes in handy when it's cold. It should be remembered that when the mode is started, the fan in the indoor unit will not turn on immediately, but only when the heat exchanger warms up - this is the work of protection against the flow of cold air. In addition, in this mode, freezing on individual elements of the outdoor unit is possible, so the operation will stop from time to time to remove ice from the outdoor unit.
The cooling mode lowers the temperature and dampness. If you want to dehumidify the room without cooling it, then you need the dehumidification mode.
The dehumidification mode is fundamentally different in that the electronics try to extract moisture from the air by minimally reducing its temperature.
Ventilating the room, the air conditioner with the help of filters simultaneously cleans the air in it.

Additional modes and settings
Due to the presence of an inverter motor control system, this model has a minimal effect on the wiring. To work in any mode and start the engine, exactly the power that is needed is taken.
The catechin filter, due to the presence of bioactive substances, similar to those found in green tea, it copes with microorganisms more effectively than other types of filters.
Another important property of this model is the presence of an antioxidant filter. Special components destroy free radicals in the air, while working as a catalyst - without being consumed. Therefore, it will protect your health for a very long time without requiring replacement.
To save energy, there is an "Econo cool" mode. Working in this case, the air conditioner consumes less.
Automatic restart. For your convenience, the system remembers the last operating mode, and after an emergency power failure, it will automatically start working in the same mode.
Timer. For greater convenience of using your air conditioner, a timer is provided to turn it on and off. You can specify the start and stop time of the device in advance, so that later it turns on and off on its own at the time you specified.

Helpful Hints
Avoid hypothermia - this will be bad for your health and cause energy waste.
Keep an eye on the vertical damper - when heating, you should direct the air down, when cooling, horizontally.
Close windows and doors to keep cold air in. Close curtains to keep direct sunlight from heating up the room. The excess of people in the room and the included heaters complicate the operation of the air conditioner.
Keep your air filter clean - clean every 2 weeks.
Ventilate the room regularly to avoid oxygen starvation.
In order for cooling or heating to reach faster right level first use the "Turbo" fan mode.

Cleaning your air conditioner
Be sure to use a stable support for work.
Unplug your air conditioner before starting.
Do not use abrasives, solvents (including gasoline), hot water. - it can hurt appearance plastic.
The filter in this model can be washed by hand and used many times. Dry all parts of this conditioner after washing in the shade.

If you think there is a problem
If your air conditioner does not work, check that the plug is connected to the outlet and that there is voltage in the network. The operation may have been disabled by a timer.
If it is not possible to turn on the device 3 minutes after turning it off, this is the operation of the system that protects the air conditioner from frequent starts.
When dehumidifying, the indoor unit is permanently turned off. In this mode, the electronics dries the air, cooling it to a minimum, so the indoor unit will periodically stop.
When starting the heating, the air conditioner does not work immediately. This is protection against the exit of cold air - the heat exchanger warms up first, and then the fan turns on.
During heating operation, the air conditioner stops intermittently for 10 minutes. This is necessary to defrost the ice of the outdoor unit, which is periodically covered with ice in this mode.
In heating mode, white smoke comes out of the outdoor unit. Cold air escaping from the outdoor unit causes condensation to form in the air.
Fog is coming out of the indoor unit. Cold air from an indoor unit in a room with high humidity will cause mist in the contact area.
After the appearance of energy, the air conditioner itself began to work. The auto-restart system itself will start the air conditioner to work in the mode in which it worked before the power failure.
Water is leaking from the outdoor unit. This is normal - when heated and cooled, there will be parts colder than the surrounding air, on which condensation or even ice will appear.
The image on the remote control has become worse or has disappeared. Check the presence and condition of the batteries. Check if they are installed correctly.
The air conditioner does not heat/cool. This may be due to a refrigerant leak, contact your service company.
The air conditioner does not cool the room well. If there are too many people in the room or there are heating devices, then its work will be difficult. Make sure the windows in the room are locked. If the curtains are open, the sunlight will heat the room and interfere with the operation of the air conditioner. Check the condition of the air filter - dirty, it creates a barrier to air movement. Check if the correct operating mode is selected.
There is a smell in the air, from the block. Check how clean the air filter of the indoor unit is. The smell can be drawn from surrounding objects (walls, wallpaper).
A crackling sound is heard. Expanding when heated, the plastic will make similar sounds.
The sound of flowing water, dripping is heard. The flow of condensate and refrigerant may well cause these sounds. If the device is turned off, the noise may be caused by the operation of the exhaust ventilation - the air is sucked into the room through the condensate drain hose.

When the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
Clean your air conditioner.
Turn on the heating for 2-3 hours. This will help dry the indoor unit and stop the possible growth of mold and bacteria.
Turn off the device using the remote control.
Disconnect the plug from the socket.

To enable
Make sure there is a way for air to escape from the outdoor unit.
Connect the plug to the mains, make sure that the grounding works correctly.
Install batteries (batteries will not work) in the remote control.

Installation site and electrical work
Do not install the air conditioner in places with a salty, humid climate, where there is a lot of engine oil and hydrogen sulfide. Do not place it in places where combustible gases may appear in the atmosphere and where the noise of the operation of the outdoor unit will disturb the residents.

Do not expose yourself, other people, animals and plants to prolonged exposure to cold air.
Do not insert fingers, fountain pens or any similar objects into the air conditioner.
If yours does not heat up and does not cool at all, it may be a refrigerant leak - contact the person who installed it.
Do not spray insecticides or flammable aerosols on the device.
Do not place electrical appliances or furniture under the units, as condensation may drip from the unit, which may damage the appliance.
Batteries must not be charged, disassembled or thrown into fire. This may cause electrolyte leakage, fire or explosion.
