Bluetooth audio transmitter. Bluetooth A2DP audio transmitter from ET. What is a Bluetooth audio adapter and why is it needed?

Hi all.

Today's review will be devoted to another Bluetooth A2DP audio transmitter. Unfortunately, the ad from which I bought it on this moment unavailable so the link above is to a different seller. But if I paid a little more than $8 for it, then the link for the receiver only asks $6.77, which is good in itself.

This is not my first attempt to convert ordinary wired headphones into a device using Bluetooth technology through a modest investment. And if the first receiver suited me completely until it died, then I didn’t like the second one right away. Therefore, a third attempt was made, which you can learn about from this review.

So, the receiver comes without any original packaging. Personally, it came into my hands in an ordinary plastic bag with a zipper.

The package included the receiver itself, a small black and white instruction manual, a 3.5 mm metal double-sided connector, as well as two cables (a 3.5 mm double-sided audio cable and a USB-microUSB cable for charging). By the way, according to the instructions, this is a TS-BT35A18 receiver.

Before moving on to the direct review of the receiver, I will introduce you to its characteristics:

  • Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, class 2.
  • Bluetooth profiles: A2DP & AVRCP.
  • Range: up to 10 meters.
  • Working time: up to 10 hours.
  • Charging time: 1.5 hours.
  • Size: 50 x 25.5 x 11 mm.
  • Battery: lithium.

The transmitter body is made of matte black plastic, making it completely free of fingerprints, which is very good. It also has no foreign smell. The halves of the case are securely connected to each other using latches (you have to be extremely careful when opening the case, I broke 2 of the 4 latches). No creaking, play, gaps or other unpleasant little things were detected.

The design of the TS-BT35A18 receiver is almost no different from the design of similar devices, with the exception of the volume buttons located on one of the side faces. On the front side of the device there is a main ON/OFF button for answering an incoming call, pausing and unpausing the playing file.

The button is made of black translucent plastic and covers two LEDs: blue and red. The blue LED blinks slowly while the receiver is connected to a sound source, red and blue blink alternately when the device pairing mode is activated, and the red LED is constantly on while charging.

As I wrote above, on one of the side faces there are volume control buttons, on the opposite there is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones/cable, on the third there is a microUSB connector for connecting the cable, and on the fourth there is a hole behind which the microphone is hidden.

Basically, there is nothing more interesting in appearance no device. So you can look at how it works.

A battery without any identification marks is hidden behind the board.

Now about the most interesting thing - the quality of work. There were no problems connecting the receiver to the sound source; everything connected on the first try. As a Bluetooth receiver, this device performed exceptionally well. The sound transmitted from the TV to the headphones was clear, with clearly noticeable low frequencies. But this was when using the receiver with large Xiberia V5 headphones, but after connecting the Xiaomi Piston earplugs, everything became not so rosy. The main problem is insufficient volume, high and low frequencies They didn’t disappear anywhere, but they became less pronounced... For fun, I tried to use the receiver as a hands-free headset - when I spoke directly into the microphone, holding the box 20 centimeters from my mouth, the interlocutor did not complain about the sound quality. But if you put the box in a place away from you, then your interlocutors begin to complain about poor audibility and distortion of the voice. As for the time battery life- it’s clearly not enough for 10 hours, but the receiver withstood two films (about 3.5 hours) without problems and didn’t even have time to fully discharge. While watching, I had to move around the apartment - when moving around the room in which the TV was located, there was no sound stuttering. But when I was from the receiver through a reinforced concrete wall, the sound began to “slow down” and stutter, but this is the problem with all devices working via Bluetooth.

To sum up everything that has been written, I can say that this receiver is much better than my previous option. It can be used to transmit sound via Bluetooth technology and if used at this time good headphones, then the decrease in quality is not noticeable. It may not be suitable for gourmet music lovers listening to music, but for my purposes - watching TV - it is more than suitable. So, personally, I was 100% satisfied with the purchase and I hope that it will serve me longer than the very first copy :)

That's probably all. Thank you for your attention and your time.

What is a Bluetooth audio adapter and why is it needed?

You almost certainly have wireless headphones, working on the channel wireless communication Bluetooth. If not, be sure to purchase them; there are many such devices for sale in our online store. They are very comfortable, many models are very light, miniature, and almost invisible. Via Bluetooth, you can transmit audio sound to headphones in excellent stereo quality; the devices are very economical and can work on a single charge for many hours.

But here's the problem - you can listen to music on Bluetooth headphones only from devices that have a Bluetooth module or transmitter. These are usually smartphones, tablets, and modern laptops. What if you want to watch movies from a TV or projector? Modern TV models are equipped with a Bluetooth module, but almost everything that was released 5 years ago does not have it.

And then a Bluetooth audio adapter will come to your aid! It's simple - connect it to a 3.5 mm cable to the audio output of your TV or computer, insert the transmitter itself into USB port- this is to power the device, USB ports and audio they are always nearby on the TV.

That's all! Turn on your convenient wireless bluetooth headphones and use our audio adapter to watch the video without disturbing anyone!

Hi all.

In today's review we'll talk about another bluetooth receiver that can turn regular headphones into wireless ones.

The model under review has the following characteristics:

Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, class 2.
Bluetooth profiles: A2DP & AVRCP.
Range: up to 10 meters.
Working time: up to 8 hours.
Size: 50 x 25.5 x 11 mm.
Battery: lithium.

The receiver arrived in a regular plastic bag, which, it seems to me, is the original factory packaging.

The following were found in the package:
1 x Bluetooth adapter.
1 x 3.5 mm jack.
1 x mini USB cable.

The receiver itself, or to be more precise, its body, is made of matte black plastic. Externally, it is not much different from similar products and looks like a black rectangle.

The receiver's controls are also standard. On its front side there is an on/off button, it is also a button to activate the pairing mode, it is also a button to pause/resume track playback.

The button has two-color backlighting. The blue light indicates that the receiver is connected to a sound source, the red light is on while charging. During pairing mode, they flash alternately.

On the side faces there are: a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microUSB connector for power supply, a microphone, as well as volume buttons, which is not found in every model.

The case halves are held on by latches, so you can easily get to the inside of the device:

The battery is not marked, but via a USB tester it was determined that its capacity corresponds to the declared one:

Now let's talk about how the receiver works. I’ll say right away that it works exactly the same as its analogues. If you use it in conjunction with headphones, the sound is very quiet and you have to listen. If you use good large headphones, then things become much better. In conjunction with Xiberia V5 - at maximum volume it is very loud. Using a receiver in conjunction with an amplifier gives the best results. As for the sound quality, I did not notice any sound distortion. There are no stutters within the room, everything works as it should. If you go out into the corridor with the receiver, then problems immediately begin - interference, brakes, and so on. The battery is enough to watch two movies at maximum volume (4 hours of continuous playback). So overall, this is a good receiver with the ability to adjust the sound, which can save you from unnecessary and unnecessary wires. It can also be used as a “transmitter” in a car, provided that there is an AUX connector. Overall, the device is not bad, but I didn’t notice any advantageous differences (again, except for the volume buttons) from competitors...

That's probably all. Thank you for your attention and your time.
