All phones have two cameras. Mobile phones with dual cameras. The best smartphones with two cameras price-quality

A dual camera is a very interesting trend in the mobile industry, which for some reason is ignored by market giants like Samsung and Sony. The gadgets from this guide are equipped with screens with a diagonal of 5.1 to 6.4 inches (at least with Full HD resolution), batteries with a capacity of 2500 to 5000 mAh, 2–4 GB of RAM and 16–256 GB of internal memory, support LTE-A. The review focuses on dual cameras, the resolution of one of which is ≥12 megapixels.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus

Let's start with an enlarged version of Apple's latest smartphone, featuring a dual 12-megapixel camera. The main lens is wide-angle - 28 mm (equivalent) - with aperture F1.8. The second is both portrait and zoom with 2x magnification, its focal length is 56 mm (equiv.), and its aperture is F2.8. The first camera block features optical image stabilization. In addition to standard shooting modes, the iPhone 7 Plus has a Portrait mode with a shallow depth of field. You can take photos at 2x zoom, adjust shooting settings manually, and shoot in RAW format (using third-party apps). Read more about the photographic capabilities of the smartphone in our review. Among other characteristics of the flagship: the first quad-core Apple A10 processor in iPhone history, 3 GB of RAM (instead of 2 in the usual “seven”) and a storage capacity of 32, 128 or 256 GB. We also note the magnificent 5.5-inch display.

ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom

Zenfone 3 Zoom was presented in the first days of this year, focusing on the model’s extensive photographic capabilities. With a quite reasonable price tag, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel front camera and a rear camera with two IMX362 sensors from Sony, 12 megapixels each. The main camera is equipped with a 2.3x optical zoom, triple autofocus, F1.7 aperture, a hybrid image stabilization system and support for video shooting in 4K resolution. Inside there is an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 processor with an Adreno 506 graphics accelerator, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB file storage expandable with microSD cards up to 2 TB and a huge 5000 mAh battery.

Honor 8

This is one of the best smartphones of last year in terms of price and quality. It has collected an incredible amount of flattering reviews from both ordinary users and leading IT specialists. All thanks to amazing optimization, very smooth and stable operation, combined with excellent characteristics and an attractive price. There is a good 8-megapixel front camera here. The main camera consists of two 12 megapixel modules with laser autofocus and F2.2 aperture. We have already evaluated the performance of the cameras, the test results are on this page. The smartphone has a bright Full HD display with a diagonal of 5.2 inches, a powerful HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Other advantages of Honor 8 include a well-built body made of plastic and metal, 32 GB of built-in expandable memory and a fast fingerprint scanner.

We also note the Pro version of the device, which is also equipped with a dual camera. Honor 8 Pro is a smartphone with a large diagonal of 5.7 inches. It just appeared on the market, but we have already tested it.

Huawei P10

Many believe that the Huawei P10 is just a slightly modified version of the previous P9 model. However, the new product is a much more modern and advanced product. While the predecessor used two 12 MP photo modules, the P10’s Leica Dual Camera 2.0 consists of two sensors with a resolution of 12 (color) and 20 MP (monochrome). The Leica Summarit-H F2.2 lens is fast, its focal length is 27 mm (equivalent). The remaining characteristics of the flagship are also “upgraded”: the device is built on the eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor (versus the Kirin 955 in the previous version), the amount of RAM has increased from 3 to 4 GB, the capacity of the non-removable battery has increased from 3000 to 3200 mAh, the OS has been updated : From Android 6.0 to Android 7.0.

Speaking about Huawei P10, it is worth mentioning the P10 Plus model. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display (instead of 5.1" in the regular P10), so the smartphone can be recommended to lovers of large screens and fans of night photography. There is the same 12+20 megapixel main camera, but different optics are used - Leica Summilux-H - with a higher aperture of F1.8.

LG G6

LG G6 is the new flagship of the Korean company. The gadget was first shown at the Mobile World Congrees 2017 exhibition in Barcelona, where it was quite warmly received by journalists and highly appreciated by engineers from other companies. It is notable for its almost frameless, dust- and moisture-proof glass and metal body and excellent dual main camera. Like the ex-flagship LG G5SE, it consists of two 13 megapixel photo modules, one of which is wide-angle (equivalent focal length - 29 mm) with a viewing angle of 71 degrees, and the second ultra-wide-angle - about 12 mm (equivalent), angle review - 125 degrees. LG G6 is also equipped with a high-quality 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 (or 2:1), Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, the latest version of Android 7.0 Nougat OS, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB storage, 5-megapixel front camera with F2.2 aperture and 100-degree viewing angle, as well as a non-removable 3300 mAh battery with support for QuickCharge 3.0 fast charging technology.

LG X Cam

Despite the relatively affordable price, the X Cam has a dual main camera, consisting of a standard 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel wide-angle module with a viewing angle of 120 degrees. The LG X Cam, although not particularly exciting, is completely worth its price. This is thanks to the front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels, a 2520 mAh battery, an eight-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with a frequency of 1.1 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB file storage, the volume of which can be increased to 2 TB via microSD cards.

Xiaomi mi5S Plus

This smartphone has a stylish metal body, a Snapdragon 821 chipset with a frequency of 2.35 GHz, a spacious 64 GB drive and 4 GB of RAM (in a more advanced version, these figures are 128 and 6 GB, respectively), a large battery with a capacity of 3800 mAh, a USB Type-C connector, a fingerprint sensor, a 4 megapixel front camera and a dual main camera with 13 megapixel sensors (the technology here is similar to that used by Huawei: a combination of black and white and color photo modules).

Lenovo Phab 2 Plus

If Xiaomi is just beginning to integrate dual cameras into its smartphones, then another Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has already accumulated experience in using two photo modules in one device. The company has combined two original solutions in Phab 2 Plus: a huge 6.4-inch screen with Full HD resolution and a 13-megapixel main camera with laser autofocus and an F2.0 lens. The hardware of this phablet allows you to solve most everyday work and multimedia tasks. It runs on an eight-core MediaTek MT8783 processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, the amount of RAM and internal memory is 3 and 32 GB, respectively, and the battery capacity is 4050 mAh.

ZTE Blade V8

ZTE engineers placed modules in a double camera, one of which has the usual 13 megapixel resolution, and the second - only 2 megapixels. However, such a combination is enough for post-focusing and creating 3D photographs. Costing just over $300, the Blade V8 runs the modern Android 7.0 operating system out of the box, is equipped with an ergonomic aircraft-grade aluminum body, a bright 5.2-inch Full HD screen, a powerful eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with an Adreno 505 graphics accelerator, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage (+microSD up to 128 GB), high-quality 13-megapixel front camera and a battery with a capacity of 2730 mAh.

One of the most recent trends in smartphones is the installation of a dual main camera. The operating algorithms of this module are different, but usually the main matrix is used for shooting, and the second one helps improve the photo in various ways. But the way to implement this functionality differs, depending on the manufacturing company.

Today in our review are the following models with a dual camera:

This selection is dedicated to smartphones from the end of 2016 - beginning of 2017, which are equipped with two cameras. It does not include all devices that have a dual module, but only those that are most interesting in their price niches or are distinguished by some unusual approach to implementing the functions of the photographic subsystem.

LeEco Cool 1

Among the cheap two-chamber new products, LeEco Cool1 should definitely be noted. LeEco Cool1 has a dual camera. It includes two 13.0 megapixel sensors: one monochrome and one color. According to the manufacturer, due to this structure it is possible to obtain much higher quality photographs.

In addition, the camera application provides a special additional SLR mode (as DSLR cameras are often called). In photographs taken with it, you can change the level of background blur after the fact, or move the focus point. The resolution of the front module is 8.0 megapixels.

Doogee Shoot 2

However, there are more affordable dual-camera phones out there. For example, Doogee Shoot 2 costs about 6,500 rubles if you order it from your homeland. The second generation model has become somewhat more affordable thanks to a smaller screen and a different processor. At the same time, the device received a more capacious battery, a 360-degree fingerprint sensor, Android 7.0 and a dual camera with a 2x optical zoom option, which, according to rumors, was created almost in partnership with Huawei.

In terms of hardware, the smartphone with a dual main camera, Doogee Shoot 1, is not far from budget smartphones. 16 GB of memory and quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz. The display corresponds to a higher class: 1280x720, 5 inches, IPS. Battery capacity - 3,360 mAh.

Leagoo M8 Pro

According to Samsung, 92% of users take photos with their smartphone. At the same time, 36% choose a device based on camera quality. It is for this group of people that Leagoo has released a re-release of the M8 model. The new M8 Pro has a dual 13-megapixel camera with monochrome and color modules that captures photos with bokeh effects and increased detail.

Photos are saved to a built-in 16 GB storage device, and the smartphone has support for memory cards. You can view videos and photos on the 5.7-inch IPS display, and the 3,500 mAh battery will allow you to do this for a long time.

AllCallBro

AllCall Bro is made in an all-metal case from high-quality aircraft aluminum. Most of the front side of the device is occupied by a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, which is manufactured by the Japanese company Sharp and covered with 2.5D glass. It features wide viewing angles up to 178 degrees and vibrant colors. This allows you to watch photos and movies with friends, which once again confirms the name of the device.

The main feature of AllCall Bro is its dual main camera. An eight-megapixel Sony sensor is responsible for the shooting itself, while a second 2-megapixel sensor is used to collect depth of field data. This makes it possible to activate a special shooting mode so that the background is blurred and all attention is focused on the main subject. On the front side, there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfies.

Bluboo D1

A few weeks ago, Bluboo introduced its new smartphone Bluboo D1. The main feature of the new product is the dual main camera. It is represented by a combination of a 2-megapixel additional and eight megapixel main sensors. This allows you to change the focus point on the finished photo, as well as get a photo with a bokeh effect.

Xiaomi Mi6

April was marked by the long-awaited and high-profile premiere of the new flagship Xiaomi Mi6. It has been noticeably modified; all the “filling” is placed in a high-quality glass case with a stainless steel frame. There is 3D glass installed on the back and front, which is curved along all edges.

The second innovation is a dual front camera module with a resolution of 12 and 12 megapixels. There is four-axis optical stabilization, as well as the possibility of 2x optical zoom without loss of quality. The Xiaomi Mi6 smartphone will be able to take good pictures with the bokeh effect.

ZTE Nubia Z17 mini

As last year, ZTE presented a mini-version of the future flagship of the Nubia line significantly earlier than the flagship itself. ZTE Nubia Z17 mini is equipped with two 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensors with full optical stabilization. One of the device’s cameras is monochrome, and the second shoots in color.

The user can manually adjust the aperture in the range from f/1.0 to f/16.0 in order to change the level of background blur. The front camera shoots with a resolution of 16 megapixels, captures images with f/2.0 aperture, and also has a fairly wide viewing angle of 80°. On the front there is a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and underneath there is a 2950 mAh battery that charges very quickly via a USB Type-C connector.

AGM X1

We are already accustomed to the fact that secure smartphones look very unattractive and have mediocre characteristics. AGM X1 was a very pleasant exception: a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, 4GB of RAM, an eight-core Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, expandable internal memory and a capacious 5400 mAh battery with support for very fast charging. Quick Charge 3.0.

The case is made of an unusual material for smartphones - high-quality titanium alloy. It is protected according to the IP68 standard from dust and moisture. The fingerprint scanner unlocks the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds, even when your hands are covered in water. Another feature of the smartphone is a dual main camera with a resolution of 13 megapixel modules. The camera app launches in less than half a second and can take photos with a bokeh effect. Thanks to a very impressive battery, the AGM X1 works normally without recharging for up to three days.

Honor V9

An interesting gadget, Honor V9, was released under the Honor brand. Thanks to its dual camera and laser focusing mechanism, the device can create three-dimensional images that can always be printed on a 3D printer. Both smartphone cameras have the same resolution - 12 megapixels, but one of the sensors is color, the second is monochrome. The front camera resolution is 8 megapixels.

Honor V9 is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, a powerful eight-core Kirin 960 processor, as well as 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 internal memory. Despite the rather thin body with a thickness of 6.97 mm, the engineers managed to equip the device with a capacious 4000 mAh battery. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.0 shell.

Not long ago, Sony made a rather bold statement. According to the company, in 2017, flagship smartphones, the production of which Sony took up. You've probably heard that the iPhone 7 Plus is likely to have a dual camera setup. He won't be the first. Many flagship smartphones already delight users with a dual camera.

We will not remember LG Optimus 3D and HTC Evo 3D, which several years ago tried to surprise the owners of these smartphones with 3D photographs. It was a bad idea. Only after a while were manufacturers able to find a use for the dual camera module. Where is it already used? In these smartphones:

HTC One M8

The second camera on this HTC allows users to change the focal length of a photo they've already taken. It is noteworthy that already in the next generation of HTC flagship smartphones, the second camera disappeared.

Honor 6 Plus

Huawei has found a completely different use for the dual camera. Two sensors allow the smartphone camera to receive more light and take better photos in low light. The smartphone software takes two photos from 8-megapixel cameras into one 13-megapixel photo.

Qiku Q Terra

The two 13-megapixel sensors of this little-known Chinese smartphone also allow you to take high-quality photos in low light.

Lenovo Vibe S1

This Chinese smartphone has two front cameras designed for selfies. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera does all the heavy lifting, while the secondary 2-megapixel camera is used for distance estimation, similar to the HTC One M8.

LG V10

This smartphone will offer you to take selfies in a group or alone. To ensure that your entire company is included in the photo, the smartphone is equipped with a wide-format 8-megapixel camera. The 5-megapixel camera is suitable for photographs of the owner alone.

LG G5

The new product from LG offers all the same things, but this time we are talking not about the front cameras, but about the main cameras. There is also a mode that allows you to use wide-format and regular cameras for one shot.

Based on materials from PhoneArena

Nowadays, phones with dual cameras are not uncommon. They can often be found on sale, but many people still do not understand why some manufacturers began to equip gadgets with such a function. Well, there is an explanation for this.

3D creation

This is the first thing dual camera phones were made for. Everyone remembers 2011 very well, when the craze for home 3D began. People began to actively buy televisions that supported stereo images. So smartphone manufacturers decided to keep up with fashion trends. Also in 2011, phones such as LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D were released. By the way, you can see them in the photo provided above.

The screens in them used a special parallax barrier. Due to this technology, a person’s left eye saw one part of the pixels, and the right eye saw another. Viewing 3D materials has become real. However, the two cameras worked the same way. The first lens saw one part of the pixels, and the second - another.

However, these dual camera phones did not become popular. They aroused interest, but buyers did not like the fact that the displays had a low resolution, which reduced the quality of the material being filmed. And smartphones turned out to be inconvenient to use. To take a 3D photo, you had to hold the phone motionless at one point - the slightest movement would ruin the frame.

Panoramic effect

When taking photographs, people always want the entire object they want to capture to be included in the frame. But this does not succeed in every case. Phone manufacturers are well aware of this fact. That's why dual camera phones have emerged, designed to expand the field of view of the lens.

Many will say: “But smartphones now have fisheye and panorama functions!” Yes, it is available. It’s just that such smartphones have universal optics, the viewing angle of which is limited. In order to get as much detail as possible into the lens, you have to use very curved lenses, or make photo sensors of a wide, non-standard format. The pictures turn out to be greatly reduced in height, and the quality also suffers.

But with a smartphone with a dual module you can take excellent photos. To do this, you just need to press the button once, fixing the desired object. You will get a great photo without gluing or graphic defects. A striking example of such a phone is the LG G5, costing 22-25 thousand rubles. One camera in the module has a viewing angle of 90 degrees. The other, highly specialized, is wider - 100-120.

Improving photo quality

This is another reason why we need dual cameras on phones. Single lens smartphones do not have optical zoom. If you need to bring an object closer, the system will simply take the required piece of the image and then “stretch” it. Naturally, there can be no talk of any detail. But a double module solves this problem. After all, it includes one regular camera and another telescopic one. The recently released iPhone 7 Plus boasts the presence of such a module. In it, both matrices are the same, but one is equipped with high-aperture optics with normal parameters, and the other has a long-range view with a limited viewing angle.

Increasing contrast, clarity and detail - this is another reason why you need a dual camera on your phone. A very useful feature. When a module has both color and monochrome cameras, this is reflected in the quality of shooting. One optic captures colors and shades, while the other registers the smallest details. The result is a bright, detailed picture. This is exactly the module installed on Huawei P9, the price of which is about 30,000 rubles.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro

I would like to pay special attention to this phone model. Mi 4 Pro with dual camera is very popular now. But Xiaomi was the last of those who decided to develop this concept.

The main camera of this model is 13 megapixel. The second is 5 megapixels. This is what captures the depth of the data. Thanks to its presence, Xiaomi Redmi Pro takes amazing pictures with a bokeh effect (the subject of the photo is in focus, and the background is blurred). Interestingly, the settings can be adjusted by the owner of the phone. The aperture is easily adjusted manually, thereby achieving the desired level of blur.

By the way, this phone has already been tested by many technology connoisseurs, and most of them did not forget to compare the Xiaomi Redmi Pro with the seventh iPhone. But really, photographs taken from the cameras of both models are no different. But Xiaomi costs as much as 1/3 of an Apple phone.

Cheap models

As you can already see, smartphones with such impressive optical characteristics are quite expensive. But, since models with such functionality soon became popular, manufacturers of budget smartphones quickly set up their production. Chinese phones with dual cameras are a good alternative to all the previously mentioned models.

Take, for example, Doogee Shoot 1. Its price varies from 5 to 6.5 thousand rubles. Its optical module consists of a 13-megapixel main camera made by Samsung, and a second additional one of 8 megapixels. Photos are bright, clear and detailed, and the notorious bokeh effect can also be achieved easily.

The Elephone Max, which is the company’s first experimental smartphone, costs a little more (6.5-7 thousand). The manufacturer interested buyers with a dual camera capable of taking pictures at the same level as DSLR cameras.

The third budget option is LeEco Cool1, the price of which varies from 9 to 14 thousand (depending on the configuration). The module of this smartphone includes two 13-megapixel cameras, an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a dual LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The most important thing is that this phone shoots video in 4K Ultra HD format. The front camera of this model, by the way, is 8-megapixel, and records videos in 1080p format.

Elite Chinese model

A much more expensive Chinese option is the Gionee M2017. It costs about 65-75 thousand rubles in its usual form. In China, versions in crocodile skin are still sold, and they cost a hundred thousand more.

The price is explained by the presence of an 8-core processor, an incredibly thin body, 64 built-in gigabytes of memory, a 2560x1440 display expansion and, of course, an optical module. It consists of 12 and 13 megapixel cameras respectively, which support 4x optical zoom. There is also a powerful LED flash.

Smartphones for selfie lovers

Gadgets with dual front cameras also exist! These are Vivo X9 and X9 Plus, released in December 2016. These smartphones have a regular 16-megapixel camera on the back. But in front there is a double front module. One camera is 20 MP and the other is 8 MP. And the aperture is f/2.0. This is a really great dual camera in a phone.

Why was it decided to install it specifically in the front part? Because such a solution is new to the gadget industry, and besides, selfie lovers want high-quality photos. And with such characteristics, even the bokeh effect can be created in one motion. During shooting, the main camera focuses on the person's face, and the other creates background blur.

The price of these models varies from 22 to 28, and from 30 to 35 thousand rubles, respectively.

Bluboo Dual

This is the last model that is worth noting. Its price starts from 5,700 rubles. The dual module consists of a main 13-megapixel Sony IMX135 camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. Despite the fact that the characteristics are less impressive than all the previously mentioned models, it is possible to achieve beautiful background blur and clear focus with such a phone.

In general, as you can see, there are a considerable number of smartphones with modular cameras. If you wish, you can find a good gadget at a reasonable price, buy it and enjoy high-quality pictures.

The iPhone 7 Plus uses two cameras with a resolution of 12 megapixels. One module is wide-angle, it allows you to capture more light and take high-quality pictures even in low light conditions, and the second is telescopic, thanks to which a 2x optical zoom is realized. So you can take closer shots and zoom in without losing quality if the subject is far away.

The smartphone also uses Portrait mode, which allows you to keep the foreground in focus and blur the background. The result is beautiful and expressive portrait photographs comparable to the quality of SLR cameras.

In addition to two cameras, iPhone 7 Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution, the most powerful Apple A10 Fusion processor and stereo speakers. All this is enclosed in a thin metal case, protected from water and dust according to the IP67 standard.

Operating system: iOS 10. Processor: Apple A10. RAM: 3 GB

Huawei P10

Huawei was one of the first to produce smartphones with two cameras, promoting this feature as a key one. Last year the very successful P9 was released, and in 2017 its successor, the Huawei P10, went on sale.

The new product includes two camera modules developed jointly with the German company Leica. The first module is color at 12 megapixels, the second is monochrome with a resolution of 20 megapixels. Automation instantly combines images from two cameras, producing beautiful images with a wide dynamic range and excellent color rendition.

Dual-camera technology is also used for the bokeh effect - a beautiful blur of the background. The device can also photograph distant objects without loss of quality - for this, a 2x hybrid zoom is used. We haven’t forgotten about optical stabilization, which prevents you from taking a blurry picture even in poor lighting.

The remaining characteristics are as follows: a 5.1-inch display with Full HD resolution, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, expandable with a memory card, an eight-core Kirin 960 processor and a 3200 mAh battery that supports fast charging using Huawei’s proprietary SuperCharge technology.

Honor 8

Another smartphone from the company with two cameras. Both modules have a resolution of 12 megapixels. One lens takes a black and white image, and the other takes a color image. The two frames are then merged almost instantly. This is necessary to expand the dynamic range - the ability to preserve details in the darkest and lightest areas of the frame.

The camera uses a wide aperture mode to blur the background. Using this function, you can manually adjust the depth of field during shooting or after the shot is taken.

In addition, when editing a photo, you can change the focus points, bringing the desired subject to the foreground. In general, the camera in Honor 8 gives its owner ample opportunities for creativity.

Honor 8 also boasts a beautiful glass body and a large number of colors - blue, black, white, pink and gold. The smartphone is powered by a powerful Kirin 950 processor and 4 GB of RAM. There are two options to choose from - with 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh, and the screen is a 5.2-inch IPS matrix with Full HD resolution.

Xiaomi Mi5s Plus

Xiaomi Mi5s Plus is equipped with a dual main camera with a resolution of 13 MP + 13 MP. One module takes a color photo, and the second takes a monochrome photo. The main feature of the camera is that the two modules do not work together by default - to do this, you need to activate a special stereo mode by selecting the aperture icon on the display.

The camera in this mode becomes noticeably slower, but allows you to take pictures with a wider dynamic range and better detail in the dark.

The characteristics of the smartphone are as follows: a 5.7-inch Full HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory and a 3800 mAh battery. As a result, we get a large flagship at an attractive price.

LG G5 SE

LG also uses dual cameras in many of its smartphones, but their functionality is completely different from what other manufacturers use. The main module of the G5 SE has a resolution of 16 megapixels, the second is a wide-angle 8-megapixel module with a shooting angle of 135°.

A separate wide-angle lens, as conceived by the creators, should help photograph panoramic landscapes, tall buildings or groups of people without the need to move a long distance from the subject.

Switching modes occurs instantly; for this, the camera interface has two corresponding buttons. As LG's research shows, users of this smartphone use wide-angle photography in 55% of cases - this indicates that the function is in great demand.

The LG G5 SE was equipped with a 5.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and the Always On Display function, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, and a 2800 mAh battery.

In addition, the smartphone is made using a unique modular system. Instead of a removable bottom panel, you can install various branded modules. For example, a handle with an additional battery and camera control buttons or a module with a digital-to-analog converter for music lovers, developed jointly with the Danish company Bang&Olufsen.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom ZE553KL

Asus presented the Zenfone 3 Zoom at CES 2017 and is already available for purchase in Russia. The main feature of the smartphone is its dual camera module.

The main one has a wide-angle lens with a large aperture (f/1.7) and a 12 megapixel matrix with support for ASUS SuperPixel technology. It is designed for shooting everyday scenes, including in low light.

The second camera - with the same 12 megapixel resolution and 2.3 times optical zoom - is used to take high-quality close-up shots. That is, the key feature of the device is the 2.3x optical zoom, which allows you to zoom in without losing quality.

The camera is not the only advantage of the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom. The new product has a 5000 mAh battery installed - it should be enough for a couple of days of active work.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4 GB of RAM, which is enough to run all modern games without freezing. There is 64 GB of memory for data storage and the screen size is 5.5 inches. And all this at a very attractive price.

ZTE Blade V8

Phab 2 Pro is the world's first smartphone to support Tango, Google's technology that brings augmented reality (AR) to games and apps. The gadget has not two, but three modules located on the back - a main 16-megapixel camera, a depth camera and a motion tracking camera.

Thanks to the cameras, sensors and developed software listed above, the phone can create a 3D model of the room in which it is located. That is, the device is able to track movements, explore the environment and perceive the depth of space. This data is subsequently used to superimpose the virtual image onto the real world image displayed on the phone screen.

This is an experimental feature at the moment, but it already works great and has virtually no errors. But there is also a problem - there is practically no software for this technology yet. You'll have to make do with a few apps and a couple of games.

Lenovo Phab 2 Pro received good components. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz. The Chinese also installed 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (of course, it can be expanded). In addition, under the 6.4-inch Quad-HD display there is a 4050 mAh lithium-ion battery.
