Yesterday, June 9, in Moscow, on the stage of the Olympic Stadium, the main event of the year in the field of music took place - the Muz-TV Award 2017. This year the anniversary award took place, the 15th. The organizers managed to surprise the guests and spectators. The Muz-TV channel's awards began in 2003, and many Russian stars perform at it every year.

Our celebrities dream of the treasured “plates”. The presenters of the Muz-TV 2017 awards were: Dmitry Nagiyev and Ksenia Sobchak, Maxim Galkin and Lera Kudryantseva.
In 2017, the organizers decided to have spectators sit around the stage in a 360-degree format. At 19:00, numerous spectators and celebrities took their places in the sports complex to find out who would be the winners in the categories.

In the “Best Show” nomination, Philip Kirkorov won, and the “plate” was presented to him by the recent doctor Timati.

The MUZ-TV Award has been awarded since 2003, and since then many stars have performed at it, including international ones. Over the years, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Craig David, PSY and others congratulated the laureates from the Olympic stage. In recent years, an almost permanent composition of presenters has been responsible for the atmosphere at the awards: Dmitry Nagiyev, Lera Kudryavtseva and Maxim Galkin. Remembering how it all began in 2003, they noted together that these were the times when Sobchak had not yet been kicked out of “House-2”, Nagiyev hosted the “Windows” program, Galkin went on tour with Kirkorov’s wife and only Lera Kudryavtseva had already was a star of MUZ-TV. Jokes about Lera’s many years of work on the main music channel are a tradition at all ceremonies, but the TV presenter does not pay attention to ambiguous remarks: many people dream of being a symbol of MUZ-TV, but she takes this place.

This year, the awards concert was held in an unusual 360-degree format, with the audience seated around the stage. Broadcasting in such conditions is not an easy task, especially for the presenters, but there were so many people who wanted to attend the event that the usual area of ​​the “Olympic” simply could not accommodate everyone. As a rule, the sports complex is only half opened and spectators at concerts are located in one part of it, but this time everything was different.

So, at exactly 19:00, thirty thousand spectators and about one and a half hundred celebrities took their seats in the hall to find out who will receive the awards of the MUZ-TV channel this year. The guests sitting in the VIP section almost unanimously agreed that Svetlana Loboda and Philip Kirkorov would not be left without an award. Only those who do not have a radio have not heard the songs of the first, and the shows of the second were sold out this year with such crazy full houses that it was simply impossible not to note it. Svetlana Loboda met the expectations of fans and took home the award in the “Best Performer” category.

Unlike last year, when Philip refused to even be nominated for an award, saying that he had already received everything he could, this year he turned out to be more supportive and allowed himself to be given a special prize for the 50th anniversary and a “plate” for the best show. The once sworn enemy, and for some time now almost a friend of Kirkorov, Timati, was invited to present the award on stage. Let us remember that several years ago it was Timati who made a scandalous statement about the fact that all music awards in the country go to the same people. This marked the beginning of enmity between him and the king of pop; for a long time the artists did not even demonstratively greet each other at events, but now the hatchet has been buried. Although, while giving a speech, Timati, who was among the losers of the award for best show, did not miss the opportunity to remind those gathered that it was he, the only one of the nominees, who collected the full “Olympic” at his concerts.

Timati himself received the prize as “Best Performer,” but this was not the only reason for joy. His Black Star mafia wards - Mot and Yegor Creed - were not left without "plates".

One of the highlights of the show was a medley of hits written over the years by Konstantin Meladze. He was noted as the composer of the decade, and on this occasion a large-scale number was created with the participation of Polina Gagarina, Nyusha, Svetlana Loboda, Vera Brezhneva, Valery Meladze, Grigory Leps, the groups "VIA Gra" and M "Band. The song of the 15th anniversary was recognized "My baby," and when Sergei Zhukov went up on stage to receive his award, the audience sang in a way that fans of Olga Buzova never dreamed of. By the way, Olga that evening was left without a victory, but she was definitely remembered for her spectacular appearance: on the carpet of her, sitting in a giant shell, was carried out by half-naked men in loincloths. With blond mermaid curls, a crown on her head, Olga managed to outshine even Ksenia Sobchak, who appeared before the audience in the image of a dragonfly of love flying under the dome of the Olympic Stadium.

On June 9, 2017, the 15th anniversary Muz-TV Prize was held at the Olympic sports complex in Moscow. Based on the voting results, the winners in all 15 categories were announced. Everyone dreamed of an authoritative award in the field of popular music, but not everyone got the coveted “plate”.

So, for example, the real winner this year was Dima Bilan, who won in three categories at once. But TV presenter and aspiring singer Olga Buzova, who made a spectacular appearance on the red carpet and was confident of her victory in the “Breakthrough of the Year” nomination, was left with nothing and even burst into tears when she did not hear her name when the winner was announced.

Who became the owners of the anniversary “plate” of Muz TV? The nomination “Best Song of the Fifteenth Anniversary” was won by the song of the group “Hands Up”.

The nomination “Best Video” was won by Dima Bilan.

Konstantin Meladze received a special award for the “Best Composer of the Decade” award.

Maxim Fadeev and Nargiz won in the “Best Duet” category.

The nomination “Best Hit-Hop Project” went to Motu.
