Scales dl 150. Commodity scales CAS DL electronic Novosibirsk. Setting up scales to work with a computer

Classic scales. The main advantage of the scales is the ability to work on the scales without using a 220 volt network. Low consumption requires the use of a not very bright LCD indicator. But the battery life is simply impressive; some scales ran on batteries for more than six months. The ability to turn on the beeper when the platform is loaded makes it possible to protect yourself from a careless user - you cannot set up a warehouse on the platform.

Classic floor scales. The main problem with DL scales is that they are not suitable for transportation; as a rule, transportation leads to breakage of the base of the scale. Actually, this is precisely the main drawback of scales. When choosing scales, you should remember the error; on scales with a maximum weight per platform of 60 kg this is 20g, and for 200kg this is 100g; draw your own conclusions as to what is more necessary or important for you. Libras are afraid of frost and even at +10 they refuse to work normally; according to the passport, the working range is -10, which corresponds to reality at -10 they work, but are unstable. The power comes from a remote power supply, which does not contribute to stable operation, either the power supply falls out or there is no contact in the European socket.

Website of the representative office of scales "CAS" in Russia cas.ru.

There are two versions: 4 buttons, 6 buttons. The circuitry differs radically. In practice, there were three types of scales.

Setting up scales.

General principles. In all scales, the settings are divided into 4 modes:
C-1 digital value of the sensor and analog module.
C-2 pulse time of the request to the analog module.
S-3 weight calibration.
C-4 scale settings options, tables (see below)

In practice, there were three types of tables.

Tables are displayed SET 0-0, SET 1-0, etc. (the six-button option is hereafter called option I)
The tables are displayed ST0.0, ST1.0, etc. (the four-button option is hereafter called option II)
Tables are displayed C4101, C4270, etc. (the four-button option is hereafter called option III)
It should be noted that in the six-button version, the calibration algorithm differs somewhat, but not fundamentally, from the standard one.

Due to the possibility of operating from batteries, the operating mode without a network should be separately considered.

When powering the scales from a battery source, to extend its life, a useful function is automatic shutdown power in case of long (more than 3 minutes) breaks in work. For DL type scales, there are 2 operating options: with this function and without it, when the power is constantly connected.
Reinstalling (or checking) this function is carried out in the following sequence:
- With the display switched off, press the ON/OFF and ZERO keys simultaneously. First the message will appear ,
- and then (depending on the current state of the function) or the inscription when the scale is operating with this function,
- or inscription when without it.
- If, as a result of this check, it turns out that the function does not need to be changed, you should exit this mode by pressing the ON/OFF and TARE keys simultaneously. The scale switches to normal weighing mode.
- To switch from one operating option to the opposite, press the ON/OFF and ZERO keys simultaneously. The inscription (or) will change to (or). Then, by pressing the ON/OFF and TARE keys, they switch to normal weighing mode.

Err Exceeding the zero range. Release the platform from the load, press the key >0<.
Init Analog module malfunction.
OFL Platform overload. Remove the load from the platform immediately.
UNSTA Unstable condition. Level the scales.

Repair.

More than half of the repairs can be done by a mechanic of medium and low qualifications. To carry out repairs, a specialist with higher qualifications in handling a soldering iron is sometimes required. As a rule, all breakdowns have a root cause, so when repairing, it is advisable to eliminate not only the consequences, but also the cause.
1. Floats weight from 100 g to 1 kg. There may be two reasons. The first is directed air flow, this can be ventilation, an air curtain, or a powerful air conditioner. The second wire break in the connector from the load cell. It is very easy to check; the head of the scale is unscrewed and moved in different directions; if the weight is different at different corners of the head, the cable is broken. Practice shows that it breaks precisely in the connector (mother), outwardly the wire does not look broken, but if you carefully move this wire with tweezers, the weight begins to jump. The reason for such a breakdown is a poorly screwed (not secured at all, screwed without washers) head of the scale to the rack; please note, the head after repair should sit rigidly and turn with some effort.
2. Weight up to 40-60 kg is shown normally; above that it begins to show an error of up to tens of kilograms. There may be three reasons. The first is that one of the limiting bolts has come loose, which is easily determined by visual inspection and usually appears on new scales. The second is that a foreign object has fallen under the platform; under small loads the platform cannot reach it; under heavy loads, the effect of a restrictive bolt is obtained. It is detected by external inspection; if you look awkwardly, you drag a screwdriver along the perimeter of the platform and the source of the breakdown flies out on its own. The third is the most unpleasant, since on large loads it gives a relatively small error and, as a rule, the staff does not pay attention to it. A lifted rubber band located around the perimeter of the base can be detected only by external inspection, where this is not possible - by feeling the rubber band with your hands along the entire perimeter of the scale.
3. On the indicator, some segments are visible almost normally (but at an angle), some are not visible, and “extra” segments are visible. Moreover, the extra segments are different for different indications. Scales 4 buttons. The 78F9328 processor burned out. Please note that in practice it has never been necessary to change the indicator due to such a breakdown; be sure to start the repair by replacing the processor. Replacement of the processor should be entrusted to a soldering specialist; replacement made using homegrown methods - “by a hair’s breadth”, “by a sliver”, “by the blade”, as a rule, either leads to disastrous results. The cause of such a breakdown may be the power supply; if the latter breaks down, the staff replaces it with a Chinese one with an unstabilized output, without notifying about the breakdown. Be sure to check if the power supply is collapsible, that there is a 7509 stabilizer or its equivalent at the output of the power supply.
4. Keys are pressed poorly. A characteristic disease is accompanied by the replacement of rather specific buttons; the buttons have a non-rotating axis. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to stock up on such buttons in advance.

5. Scales do not turn on. A seemingly simple malfunction has a large number of nuances. Let's try to consider everything:
Low consumption allows you to run the scales from almost any power supply. There was a case when the scales worked at 7.5V for three years without any failures. However, here you should pay attention to the following fact: stabilized power is required, otherwise be prepared to replace the 78F9328 processor, which by the way is quite expensive. Personally, we use switching power supplies from scanners, which are somewhat expensive to purchase, but stable operation and light weight allow us to show good results during operation.
If the power supply is broken, you should pay attention to the nature of the failure, as a rule, it is mechanical damage, broken wire(s), or a split case. In this case, it is necessary to take care to avoid repeated breakdowns by replacing the power supply with a power supply that does not hang in a 220V socket with its entire body, but is connected via a wire with a normal Euro plug.
Broken low-voltage (9 volt) wire. For the first time we build up, eliminate the break. If there are multiple repeated breaks, you should find out the cause of the break. If the wire is broken as a result of moving the scales, it is better to leave everything as is. For particularly negligent customers, more stringent measures are taken, the power supply is removed and batteries are installed. Using batteries of average quality, the scales can last from 4 to 10 months, even if the scales are heavily loaded.
Multiple breaks in the low-voltage (9 volt) wire not related to the movement of the scales can be eliminated by installing the power supply inside the rack; a thick 220-volt power wire with a Euro plug is brought out. A serious disadvantage of this method is the possible subsequent breakdown of the rack base. Here you should choose depending on the type of contract for servicing the scales; a flimsy low-voltage wire can be broken up to 3 times a week, and the operability of the scales is impaired; with a thick 220V wire, the stand is broken once every 6-12 months, while the operability of the scales is maintained. If you go out for repairs and the speed of closing the request is critical, then the better option is to modify it inside the rack; if you bring the scales yourself, you can simply change the low-voltage wires.
Damage to the power plug socket. Here we either install the original one if the mount is not broken (in 90% of cases the mount breaks), otherwise a glue gun comes to the rescue; gluing with glue is not recommended; in case of repeated breakage, it is difficult to remove the remnants of the old connector. In field conditions, all methods are good, up to removing the socket from the power circuit and soldering the wires directly.
6. When the scale is turned on, the HI segment lights up on the indicator and goes out when the button is released. The quartz needs to be replaced.
7. When turned on, the test runs from 1111 to 9999, followed by the error Err (Err 1). There may be three reasons:
At the moment of switching on, the platform was loaded, just remove the load from the platform, the error should go away.
Requires calibration.
The temperature regime of the scales is broken. When you remove the cover from the platform, the error goes away, put the platform in place and press the Zero key. As a rule, such an error occurs on scales installed in open landing stages in winter (summer). Requires calibration for current temperature conditions. You should be prepared that if the temperature changes, recalibration will be required.
8. When calibrating, hhhh or LLLL is displayed instead of end. Check the table settings in the maximum weight section. If the tables are configured correctly, then we change the beam.
9. When the scales are turned on, the scales turn on without error, but the indicator readings do not change when the beam is loaded. In service mode, set4 is filled with zero data. Scales 4 buttons. The 78F9328 processor burned out. Replacing the processor should be entrusted to a soldering specialist; replacements made using homegrown methods - “by a hair’s breadth,” “by a sliver,” “by the blade,” as a rule, either lead to disastrous results.

Functional features of platform scales CAS DL series

Measuring the mass of the load.
Weighing cargo in containers with deduction of container weight (gross weight should not exceed max). The mass of the container is determined by weighing it.
Weighing unstable loads: the scale stores several measured mass values, and then calculates and displays the average value. The mode is convenient when weighing animals.
Weighing mode within specified limits. Designed to control weight when it is necessary that it be between the specified minimum and maximum values. The mode is convenient for packaging.
Counting mode: counting the number of pieces of small-sized products of the same type for a given mass of one piece. The mass of a piece is determined by preliminary weighing a test batch (known quantity) of samples. A trial batch can range in size from 10 to 500 products.
Sound alarm when operating in the set limits mode.
Automatically switches off the scales if no operations have been performed on them for a specified period of time (you can set the period from 3 to 30 minutes or turn off the mode).
Built-in level and height-adjustable feet for horizontal placement of scales.
Self-diagnosis of faults with the display of error messages in the operation of the scales.
Film keyboard protected from dust and moisture.
The corrugated cover of the load-receiving platform of the scales is made of stainless steel.
