Fishing tournaments

Fishing tournaments are held once a week and last two days. Usually they start from Friday to Saturday night, announcing the beginning with a system message in the chat: Attention! The fishing tournament has begun!

In order to take part in the Tournament, you need to join the Fishermen's Guild. This can be done if you have a higher Guild reputation 25 and the “fishing” skill is higher 200 .

The reputation of the Guild can be earned by completing quests taken from the Fisherman or receiving as a prize in the Demiurge lottery. Fishing skill increases by catching fish.

From the moment the tournament begins in any city, you can get tournament bait from the Fisherman - Maybug (0/200), which is used to catch tournament fish with a tournament fishing rod.

The tournament catch consists of two types of fish:

Dead fish- does not count towards the catch

gold fish has different weights and is counted in the catch. The catch is calculated according to the following scheme: (total weight of goldfish + their number) * 1000 = number of points earned.

At the end of the tournament, the Goldfish in the backpacks are counted and weighed. A fish that was thrown out or replaced in the fish does not count! The winners are awarded With precious fishing rods:

We recently had the opportunity to talk with Dmitry Lunin. This is the creator of the famous game “Carnage”, who has come a long way from a simple fan of computer games to the head of a studio. He has been programming since his school years, independently mastered the profession of a game designer, and, as a result, developed his own project. Dmitry is a fan of the legendary game “Fight Club”; it was she who inspired him to create “Carnage”. And here, in fact, is the interview itself:

1. Tell us about the main milestones in the history of the game.

The main stages in the development of the game were: the discovery of new cities, the creation of instances, quests and achievements. All this appeared at different times, since the game had just begun to develop since its release.

2. What was it originally and what is it now?

Initially it was what is now called a “startup”. I was a programmer and game designer rolled into one, so the project was and remains my brainchild. Now this is a game with a great history, deep social connections, and it no longer resembles what it was at the very beginning.

We managed to make a game where the players themselves, through their actions and actions, create a game atmosphere, where everything is like in real life. No one then suspected that millions of players would go through it, and some would be with it all these years.


3. How do you communicate with fans? Are their wishes and ideas taken into account in the development of the project?

Basically, all communication takes place through the gaming forum, but it is more of a technical nature - a reaction to errors or rare useful suggestions. In fact, there was never any direct dialogue.

Players rarely offer anything truly worthwhile, although we have suggestions for special section forum. Of all the proposals, some cosmetic or interface issues are mainly implemented. As for gameplay, most of the proposals come down to simplifying the game, removing restrictions or instant benefits. Often players don't realize that such changes only look good in the short term, and they themselves will become less interested in playing after a while.

4. What were the latest innovations in the game?

This year, all the changes concern a large series of events that precede the main event - the 10th anniversary of the project. Events take place almost one after another for six months and new ones are constantly introduced various elements in Game.


5. Tell us about the main problems you encountered during development and support?

At first, the main difficulty was optimizing the servers. 10 years ago, few people understood how to build highly loaded systems—everything had to be invented on their own. The entire game code was rewritten several times; it was difficult to change it in a project that works 24/7.
Further, as the game grew, more interactions were created, some kind of narrow places that needed to be addressed urgently. Later, problems with data storage began to appear; a large number of them had accumulated over many years.

The last major problem was the failure of a large number of servers at the same time, which led to the loss of critical data and a complete change in the game's development schedule for the year ahead.

6. What will players see in the near future?

Our immediate plans include the opening of new dungeons and the development of clan interactions.


7. What is the audience for the game? Men/women, average age?

The audience changed along with the project. She was getting younger, like the entire Internet audience. If previously the main core were accomplished adults over 30, now the average age may already be below 20.

With the spread of the Internet, the game’s audience shifted to the regions and the CIS, although previously the main centers of players were Moscow and St. Petersburg.

As for the gender distribution, it has remained virtually unchanged over the years, although the number of women has always been at a fairly high level for this type of project - about 20%.


I don’t know about the funny ones, but there were several bright and memorable moments:

1) The largest battle in the entire history of the game, which lasted several days, and more than 2000 players took part in it.

2) The first large-scale celebration of New Year's Eve in the game - I was shocked that on New Year's Eve so many people could be in the game - it was like watching a huge number of people rejoice and congratulate each other on Red Square.

Purely subjective - stretching BEAR CARNAGE is somewhat more difficult thanBEAR ATTACK, but what it does with a target as dense as meat is quite impressive. You can be sure that at a distance of about 40-60 meters the boar will be skewered at a minimum (which is correct, since the arrow must remain in the animal to hinder its movements if it decides to run somewhere). And if you use hunting tips rather than sporting ones, then I think the result will be even more interesting. For B EAR CARNAGE I specially took a new scope from TROPHY RIDGE - “Crazy 8”, which, frankly speaking, I had to tinker with for quite a long time. It was assumed that an ellipsoidal sight with eight pins would make it possible to set sighting ranges from 20 to 100 meters. Advice for beginners: don’t chase cutting-edge new products - take a “six” or “five” on a long stem, and calm down. Here's how BEAR ATTACK stands in the photo of both bows.

If the sight was adjusted in the vertical plane, then in the horizontal plane the first arrow landed in the wrong direction. A couple of turns of the key, and everything else falls into the center. In practice, I was convinced that the information from the manufacturer was more correct that the sight is intended for rough terrain, that is, for mountain conditions, where the positive and negative angles of attack of the target make adjustments to the aiming line, for which additional pins are activated. I have not yet been able to “stretch” the sight to 80 meters, and in order to use the range of 0-60 meters I had to turn over the mounting frame of the sight and be content with only seven working pins, leaving the 8th “in reserve” for a future “shootout” of the sight.

The sight on the long extension of the mounting plate allows the aiming points to be further spaced, which improves the accuracy of the aiming itself. Therefore, the short frame of the Crazy 8 is not intended for long shooting distances. The second difficulty arises when you try to reduce the distance from the pip-site to the “string” (that is, to the arrow), which would seem to make it possible to increase shooting accuracy when tilting the bow.

However, as it turned out for me, this requires a significant lowering of the scope, which is generally impossible for a standard scope, and for the Crazy 8 is at the limit of adjustment (I had to turn the mounting plate over and turn all the adjustments completely down). This is the price for 5 centimeters of lowering the pip-site, which was supposed to be used to improve shooting accuracy when tilting the bow.

In addition, the long extension of the standard sight made it possible to easily install a single-support shako for arrows on the bow with a loop for hanging the bow at rest and a screw for quickly removing the shako when it gets in the way (when sighting, on a stand, in a shooting range, etc.). If you install the "Krazy-8", then you can only put a non-removable two-support shako on the bow, because it is placed closer to the bowstring and does not block the possibility of lateral adjustments of the sight with all the arrows installed in the shako. But a non-removable two-support shako is heavier and less comfortable when carrying a bow in a case, as it sticks out to the sides, and forces the hunter, even during training, to “pump up his muscles”, holding his weight with each lift of the already heavier BEAR CARNAGE. And it is more difficult to remove arrows from it, since the lower grip deprives us of the lever that the arrow itself served when we removed it from a single-support shako, which has a lower grip located very close to the upper one. The arrow was removed from it easily and smoothly.

So the practical conclusions are: When purchasing a BEAR CARNAGE, ask to install the scope at the longest possible reach (this will give you the opportunity to make the most of the increased firing ranges of the Carnage and digitize the maximum range of distances), preferably with six pins (which it is advisable to shoot at a distance of 20-30-40-50-60- 70 meters), and do not try to press the pip-site close to the “knitting” (nok). Of course, it is best to shoot bows where you buy them,- so that the entire shooting with you will be carried out by the seller’s managers, namely at the Interloper shooting range on Khodynka, which is the only official distributor of BEAR ARCHERY in Russia.

Take a removable shako from Trophy Ridge (the second satellite enterprise of Bear Archery) for a maximum of five arrows(it’s better to equip them something like this: a sports tip, a shocker, a stationary hunting blade, a drop-down three-blade Spitfire 85, and the largest drop-down “meat grinder” available, preferably with additional blades on the head), respectively: hare (and other small things including birds with soft feathers), duck (pheasant, black grouse, capercaillie), fox (wolf, boar of the year), cleaver (seasoned wolf in winter), elk (deer), bear (pheasant in the neck). Try to keep all your tips the same weight. so that aiming does not vary too much with different types of arrow equipment. Also, if you use luminous trailers for night hunting(Luminok, or similar ones, as well as laser ones), - if possible, check the aiming line on a special target for hunting arrows (there is one at the Interloper shooting range). All this retrofitting of the arrows makes adjustments to its flight trajectory.
